CLIP & QUIP

Terms of Service

Effective October 15, 2026

These terms describe your use of the Clip & Quip website and desktop video editing and publishing software, operated under the name Clip & Quip. For questions, contact Support@clipandquip.com. By using the software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. What the app does

Clip & Quip helps you select, edit, export, and publish video clips. It is in development; availability and features may change. This public website provides product information and policies. It does not host the desktop editor or accept video uploads.

2. Your content and accounts

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use and publish videos, music, images, voices, likenesses, and other material. You authorize the processing and transmission needed to perform the features you choose, including sending an approved video and post details to a connected social platform.

Use accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Do not use the app for unlawful content, impersonation, spam, harassment, unauthorized access, or infringement. Protect access to your computer and connected accounts.

3. Review and publishing

Review the exported clip and its title, description, audience, visibility, disclosures, destination account, and schedule before approving a post. AI suggestions and captions can be inaccurate; you remain responsible for the final content. A scheduled post is permission to upload the saved clip and details at the selected time. Cancel a pending post before its upload starts if you no longer want it sent.

The desktop scheduler requires your computer to be awake, online, and running the app. Platform outages, processing, permission changes, quotas, and app limits may delay or prevent publishing. Uploads already sent to a platform must be managed there; cancelling locally or disconnecting an account does not remove published posts.

4. Third-party services

Clip & Quip uses YouTube API Services. By using its YouTube features, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. TikTok, Instagram, and any AI or media service you choose remain subject to their own terms, policies, approvals, and fees. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those platforms. Connecting credentials does not guarantee integration access or platform approval.

5. Privacy and disconnecting

Our Privacy Policy explains data use, local storage, optional cloud processing, and deletion. You can disconnect a social account in the app and revoke access through the platform. To stop using the app, cancel pending posts, disconnect accounts, revoke platform access, and remove your local data as appropriate.

6. Availability and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the development software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or successful publication. Keep backups of source media and important work. To the extent permitted by law, Clip & Quip is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the software. These terms do not exclude rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date above identifies this version. Material changes will be identified in the published terms. Questions and concerns can be sent to Support@clipandquip.com.
